Anima Alternative, founded in 2020, is an asset management company, wholly owned by Anima Holding S.p.A., part of Banco BPM Group, and focused on investments in private markets. Since inception, the company launched and raised three closed-end, Italian based, direct lending funds, addressed to professional investors, of which two classified as art. 8 SFDR. Anima Alternative invests in instruments across the entire capital structure, covering senior and junior debt, preferred equity, and minority equity.
